(August 5, 1985 - August 24, 2010) 

Brooke Bateman, 24, of Grant, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010.

She was born August 5, 1985, in Idaho Falls, to Evan Kenneth Bateman and Kristine Allan Bateman. She was raised and attended school in Rigby, graduating from Lincoln High School in Idaho Falls. She continued her education at ISU in Pocatello.

Brooke is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loves to rock climb, photography, play guitar, play softball and cook. She especially loves her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother and step-father, Kristine Bateman Bartel and Daniel Bartel, of Grant, sisters, Nichole Bateman Chesley, of Logan, Anbrea Bateman Morales, of Rigby, brothers, Brett Even Bateman, of Chesapeake, Virginia, Danen Allan Bateman, of Saratoga Springs, Utah, twin brother, Brian Nyman Bateman, of Roseville, California, grandparents, Afton Bateman, of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Walter & Sherryl Allan, of Draper, Utah.

She was preceded in death by her father, Evan Kenneth Bateman, Grandfather, Kenneth George Bateman, and sisters, Aubrey & Ashley Bateman.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the Logan City Cemetery in Logan, Utah. Services are under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby

Regardless of the road or subdivision, i do know that Ashley Haney used to live there. I was curious to know of her life - kids? amazing husband? job? world travels? You might not remember that Megan Duncan married my brother so we are sister in laws! She had a little boy after graduation Case and then we both had little girls 3 months apart Paige is her little girls name. And she just had her third baby in April, Rylie. It is so much fun having little girls about the same age, they are best friends.
